cococonvert ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our file conversion service.

When you upload a file for conversion, it is temporarily stored on our servers solely for the purpose of processing your conversion request. Files are automatically deleted immediately after conversion is complete or within 1 hour, whichever comes first.

We do not read, analyze, copy, or share the contents of your files. We do not use your files for training, analytics, or any other purpose beyond the requested conversion.

We collect minimal information to operate the service:

• Account data: Name and email when you sign up via Google, GitHub, or email/password.
• Payment data: Processed securely by Razorpay. We never store your card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details.
• Usage data: Conversion types, file sizes, timestamps (never file contents).
• IP addresses: Temporarily used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication. Analytics cookies with your consent — see section 6.

Uploaded files are processed in memory or temporary storage and deleted immediately after conversion. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Our servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade security.

The free tier of cococonvert is ad-supported. We work with third-party advertising partners who may use cookies and similar technologies. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or the ad partner's opt-out mechanisms.

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Cloud Platform — hosting and file processing
• Razorpay — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics (consent-based)
• Google/GitHub OAuth — login authentication (only profile info)
• Google AdSense — advertising (free tier only)

We never sell your personal data to any third party.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
