Merge Audio Files — Combine Multiple Tracks

Concatenate multiple audio files into one.

About Merge Audio

Combine multiple audio files into a single track, joined end-to-end in your upload order. CocoConvert handles format normalization automatically — you can upload a mix of MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, and OGG files and they will all be merged into your chosen output format.

The merge engine uses FFmpeg's concat demuxer for codec-compatible files (instant, lossless) and falls back to full transcoding when format conversion is needed. Choose from MP3, WAV, AAC (M4A), FLAC, or OGG output.

Common use cases: combining multiple podcast segments, joining music tracks into a DJ mix, assembling audiobook chapters, or creating continuous background music from multiple loops.

Pro users can merge up to 50 audio files in a single batch. Processing on secure servers in Germany with 60-minute auto-deletion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I merge different audio formats together?

Yes! CocoConvert automatically normalizes all input files to the output format you choose. You can mix MP3, WAV, FLAC, and others in a single merge.

Is the merge lossless?

If all input files share the same codec and you choose the same output format, the merge uses stream-copy mode (lossless). If format conversion is needed, the engine uses high-quality encoding.

How many files can I merge?

Up to 50 files per session on any plan. The total is also subject to your plan's hourly file limits.
